lyrics
I never thought this could be any bit different,
than the last mystery, she's doing it again oh my god-
I can't believe it's happening again.
I thought I saw you, but you didn't turn around,
the girl without a face, she only makes a sound.
Hey, hey, what you doing?
Hey, hey, we're our only kind.
Hey, hey, I Iove your grammar,
it always improves mine.
Your face in my mind.
I'm trapped in Eastern time.
We're growing older, but your voice still sounds the same.
You seem to be content, but less than 7 out of 10.
Hey, hey, name a place and…
Hey, hey, take that leap of faith.
Hey, hey, I'm so impatient for this escapade to begin.
Your face in my mind.
I'm trapped in Eastern time.
Your fate is in my hands,
but I'm trapped in Eastern lands.
I never thought this could be any bit different than the last mystery,
she's doing it again oh my god- I can't believe it's happening again.
I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
The UK upstarts' debut veers from sunny, psychedelic folk to bristling post-punk with reckless abandon without ever missing a beat. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2024
